District Bulletin 46 – AIR CANADA MEMBERS ACTIVE & RETIRED TRAVEL PASSES

As you may have heard, the Flight Attendants’ Union (CUPE) has filed a grievance
concerning Air Canada’s decision to provide B1 travel passes to the pilots.
CUPE’s grievance is based on promises alleged to have been made by the Company
to CUPE’s Bargaining Committee in 2011 that the Company had no intention of giving
to one group of employees superior travel benefits over another group. Read Bulletin here…

(Revised) – NOTICE OF NOMINATIONS FOR MTU NEGOTIATIONS COMMITTEE REPs (3)

Nominations for any of the above positions may be offered at the Regular Lodge Meeting in September.
If the Nomination is offered at the Regular Local Lodge Meeting, the NOMINATOR must be present at
the Meeting for the nomination to be accepted from the floor by the President, along with an
acceptance letter from the NOMINEE.
Both the NOMINEE and the NOMINATORS must be “Members in Good Standing” of the Local
Lodge for the nomination to be accepted. NOMINEES must meet the Local Lodge Regular Meeting
attendance requirements (50%) specified in the Local Lodge Bylaws for Elections of Local 764 and
must be a “member in good standing” for at least one (1) year at a time of nomination.

Canada. The Seminars will deal with the Air Canada Defined Benefit and MEPP Pension

In accordance with Transportation District Lodge 140 Policy No. 41, we are posting for the position of the Air Canada IAMAW Pension Committee Retiree Representative. The initial term of office for the Air Canada IAMAW Pension Committee Retiree Representative shall commence on January 1, 2018 and the term of office shall be four (4) years.
