I.A.M Local Lodge 764 Income Loss Indemnity Plan (ILIP)
As most of you know, your Disability Program (ILIP) pays a Short and Long-Term disability benefit when you’re unable to continue working due to disability. The Plan continues to support you and your family financially on your path to recovery.
The primary fiduciary responsibility of your Trustees is to ensure the long term viability of the plan on an ongoing basis. During the past two years the ILIP Plan has experienced a significant increase in utilization. This has made it necessary to make some prudent financial decisions in order to maintain your current benefit level and keep the ILIP Plan properly funded. Read Bulletin here…

In response to the April 13, 2023 bulletin advising of the recent vacancy for this position, Local Lodge 764 has received one (1) application. I would like to inform our members that Brother James Ainscow has graciously volunteered to put his name forward for this position. Brother Ainscow has agreed to accept the position and has therefore been acclaimed as the LL764 Technical Operations, Logistics and Supply representative on the Air Canada National Negotiations Committee. LOCAL LODGE 764 VACANCY NOTICE TECHNICAL OPERATIONS, LOGISTICS & SUPPLY REPRESENTATIVE AIR CANADA NATIONAL NEGOTIATIONS COMMITTEE
The Local Lodge 764 Executive Board has been ordered by the International President to suspend our current Technical Operations, Logistics and Supply representative from his position on the Air Canada National Negotiations Committee.
As a consequence of this action, all LL764 members who work for Air Canada Technical Operations, Logistics and Supply in all of the categories enumerated in Articles 4.02, 4.03, 8.02 and 8.03 of the TMOS collective agreement have no representation on the Air Canada National Negotiations Committee.

On September 15, 2022, we communicated the details of the Consent Award issued by Arbitrator Ready on September 12, 2022, which dealt with excessive overtime and numerous violations of Article 5.04(a) governing overtime solicitation and distribution.
