Winning entries receive cash prizes and will appear in the 2018 1AM Calendar. Two dollars from each calendar sale is donated to Guide Dogs of America.

Photos must be taken by IAM members in good standing, and persons in the photos must also be members in good standing. Subjects should be working at their job and conform to all safety standards.

worker and a union member this will be the most important thing you do. Your
health and safety at work, access to Worker’s Compensation, quality
Healthcare, a $15/hour minimum wage, affordable childcare, affordable
housing, better transit and fairness for you and your union at the Labour Board
all depend on your vote. Make sure you have a plan to vote.

BCFED- On-the-job deaths of two Okanagan workers

The BC Federation of Labour is renewing its call for the BC government to make workplaces safer after
two more workers were killed in fatal incidents at Okanagan timber facilities in the past five days.

IAM764 Women’s Committee marched in Vancouver



Members of the IAM764 Women’s Committee marched in Vancouver on Saturday in solidarity with women in Washington, DC and around the world. The Women’s March was a peaceful protest in response to the inauguration of Donald Trump. The larger than expected crowds in many cities sent a powerful signal that the hate, sexism and bigotry that characterized his campaign are not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
