MTU MAINTENANCE LOCAL LODGE 764 ARTICLE 5 – OVERTIME SOLICITATION AND DISTRIBUTION
On September 15, 2022, we communicated the details of the Consent Award issued by Arbitrator Ready on September 12, 2022, which dealt with excessive overtime and numerous violations of Article 5.04(a) governing overtime solicitation and distribution.

District Bulletin 06 – AIR CANADA – TMOS RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE CATEGORY 38 B STATION GRIEVANCE & COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT
This bulletin explains the relationship between the long-overdue Category 38 B station grievance and the collective agreement opener prescribed in appendix XXXXIV. A grievance is a violation of the existing language of the collective agreement whereby your representative is attempting to uphold the existing language. In this circumstance before an arbitrator.

DISTRICT LODGE 140 23rd ANNUAL CONVENTION MONTREAL, QUEBEC DATES & VENUE PLACE
Please be advised that the 23rd Annual IAMAW Transportation District 140 Convention will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 and Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Registration fee of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) per person. Payment must be made by July 31, 2023.

District Bulletin 03 – AIR CANADA TMOS NEW SICK LEAVE
Members are advised that the new sick leave provisions of the CLC have been integrated into the legacy
sick leave provisions contained in our Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
Under the CLC, federally regulated employees are entitled to accrue up to ten (10) paid sick days per
calendar year. As of January 1, 2023, employees were allocated three (3) paid sick days and will further accrue one (1) day of paid sick leave per month up to a maximum of ten (10) days per calendar year. Read Bulletin here…
