MTU MAINTENANCE CANADA LTD. RATIFICATION VOTE – VOTING LOCATION

There was a typo on the cover sheet for the negotiations package that was distributed yesterday with regards to the address for the vote location. The correct address is; 7850 Alpha Way, Delta

This is the first grey building directly in front of our facility, diagonal to the fire hall. Do not
park in the terminal parking lot.

Representatives from your Negotiations Committee will be present at the polling station

MTU MAINTENANCE CANADA LTD. COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UPDATE – FEBRUARY 17, 2022

The parties met in mediation on February 16, 2022, in our continued effort to finalize a Collective Agreement that meets your needs and expectations. We are pleased to advise the membership that we have reached a tentative agreement.

The parties are finalizing the ratification package, which will be circulated to the membership on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.

Arrangements are being made for a ratification vote on Monday, February 28, 2022. Details concerning the polling location and hours will be communicated with the ratification package. Read Bulletin here…

2022 IAM Photography Contest – ENTER NOW!

This is the official announcement of the 2022 IAM Photography Contest. It is open to all IAM members in good standing. Entries should catch IAM members at work in unposed photos. IAMAW MULTI-EMPLOYER PENSION PLAN ADDRESS CHANGE

This bulletin is to advise all Transportation District 140 members of the IAMAW Multi-Employer Pension Plan (MEPP) that the MEPP administration office will be moving effective February 1, 2022. The new mailing address for the MEPP is: 116 Lisgar Street – Suite 204, Ottawa, ON, K2P 0C2

Apply for the 2022 IAM Scholarship Competition

The 2022 IAM Scholarship Competition is accepting applications and has added a new program which will allow entrants the option to apply online. The competition is open to members of the IAM and their children throughout the United States and Canada.

If you opt to apply via mail-in, the application packet must be postmarked by February 11, 2022, and received no later than February 23, 2022.

In 2021, the IAM awarded 16 scholarships valued at $64,000. The winners were selected out of over 300 applicants

District Bulletin 02 – AC PENSION SEMINARS 2022

The enactment of various provincial health restrictions designed to reduce the spread of the Covid-19
pandemic have prevented your IAMAW Air Canada Pension Committee from holding any in-person
pension seminars during most of 2020 and all of 2021.
At this time, it is still not possible to confirm seminar dates for any Local Lodge or city. However,
members are asked to monitor their Local Lodge websites and bulletin boards as we move later into
the spring of 2022. Pension Seminar notices will be posted (typically one month in advance) in each
