LOCAL LODGE 764 BYLAW ANNUAL REVIEW – 2023
In April 2013 the Local Lodge Bylaws were amended (Article XII – Section B – Amendments) to provide for an annual review of the Bylaws in each New Year by the Bylaws Committee with input from the Membership at any time.
This Notice is to alert all Members in good standing that the Bylaws Committee of Local Lodge 764 will receive submissions on changes to the Bylaws of Local Lodge 764 until 10:00 on January 6, 2023 at the address above. UNION DUES AND PER CAPITA TAX
The amount of Union Dues paid by each individual in the Machinist Union is determined by the Membership at a democratic forum. At the International (Grand Lodge) level, the per capita tax is established by the Delegates to the Grand Lodge Convention every four years. For 2023, the Grand Lodge per capita tax will be $41.17 per member per month. This is a monthly increase of $3.21 from 2022. Read Bulletin here…

Chris Wagoner
The IAM is mourning the passing of Chris Wagoner, who recently retired as Director of the IAM’s William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center. Wagoner, 60, with his family by his side, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, November 20, 2022.
Over his 33-year IAM career, Wagoner dedicated his life to training and educating union activists at the Winpisinger Center, a campus in Hollywood, MD that many call the IAM’s “crown jewel. Read here…

Your Negotiations Committee convened for a scheduled two weeks of bargaining with the company from September 12 – 23, 2022 in Toronto. It was a disappointing, though not surprising, exercise in futility. The company continued to display no real interest in meaningful bargaining.
