We will be meeting in direct bargaining with the Company commencing on June 19 – 21, 2024.

District Bulletin 17 – AIR CANADA 6 DAY RULE GRIEVANCE UPDATE
Your Committee of General Chairperson met to discuss the 6-day rule grievances. We met with our legal counsel which provided much needed information and context. Given the information provided, we have chosen to follow the recommendation that was presented to us.
Unfortunately, we will not be moving forward at this time with the grievance in arbitration and will be attempting to obtain a resolution via the negotiations process. District Bulletin 16 – AIR CANADA OFF DUTY STATUS GRIEVANCE UPDATE
The Union met with the Company at the end of April, 2024 and beginning of May, 2024, in another attempt to finalize the “Off Duty Status” grievance that was won by your Union almost three (3) years ago. We are writing to provide you with an update to the National Arbitration held on February 20, 2024, regarding our grievance concerning the Company’s clawback due to Vacation reconciliation for members who were on CEWS (Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy) during the pandemic.
