Air Canada Share Trust Agreement
This message is being distributed on behalf of The Council of Unions. The Council of Unions was established to represent the interests of the unionized employees of Air Canada during a turbulent time that included pension insolvency. Leaders from each of Air Canada’s unions – the Air Canada Pilots Association (ACPA); Canadian Airline Dispatchers Association (CALDA); Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) – Air Canada Component; the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace workers (IAMAW); and Unifor – meet to discuss issues of common concern. AIR CANADA – TMOS NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE – May 23, 2019

District Bulletin 21 – EXCLUSITIVITY PURCHASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN AIR CANADA AND TRANSAT A.T. INC.
As expected with such announcements, there are more questions than answers at this time. However, Air Canada has agreed to meet with IAM Representatives in order to keep the lines of communications open.
The IAM represents Members working for both companies and we intend to respect the Members Collective Agreement rights throughout this process. AIR CANADA – TMOS NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE – APRIL 1, 2019
Your 2019 – 2022 TMOS Negotiating Committees continued direct bargaining with Air Canada from March 25th – March 29th in Vancouver. Discussions transpired regarding Common, Tech-Ops, Airports/Cargo and Pension issues. The Committee will be meeting with Air Canada again the week of April 8th to build on the progress made so far.
