As we all know, the cost of living continues to rise which has put enormous financial pressure on all workers. We wanted to inform you about a significant initiative we’ve undertaken here at District Lodge 140. We have recently filed a petition with the House of Commons to demand a living wage for all our members working at airports across the country.
The petition was published on July 2nd, 2024, and we are thrilled to report that it has already garnered over 450 signatures. This is a fantastic start, but our goal is to reach 5,000 signatures, and we need the help and support of all members to achieve this.
