The parties met June 19 – 21, 2024 to commence direct negotiations. Your Committee came prepared to finalize the bargaining protocol agreement, exchange our bargaining agenda and engage in good faith discussions.
Following the finalization of the bargaining protocols, the Employer issued eight (8) estoppel notices concerning both non-monetary and monetary provisions of the Collective Agreement, significantly derailing any progress with respect to the exchange of bargaining agendas during this session.
